Gaze is designed to help users improve focus and productivity by monitoring tab activity and providing optional notifications. This extension prioritizes user privacy and processes data locally on the user’s device.

Gaze may access:

• Active tab URLs (web history)
• Tab switching activity
• User-configured focus and blocked domains
• Attention status data when paired with the optional local eye-tracking program

How Information Is Used

All accessed information is used solely to:

• Detect tab switches
• Provide focus-related notifications
• Log activity to a locally running dashboard (127.0.0.1)
• Support optional local eye-tracking integration

Data Storage

All data is processed and stored locally on the user’s device. No data is transmitted to external servers. The extension does not collect, store, or transmit personal information to the developer.

Data Sharing

Gaze does not sell, transfer, or share user data with third parties.

Remote Code

The extension does not load or execute remote code. All scripts are packaged within the extension.
